I have never been treated so well by a staff in any bar/restaurant/club atmosphere. the prices are great, the drinks are good and the specialty nights are always fun, if it be a night with the KJ Matt or a comedy night with hilarious local comedians. The best part is that peter is not a stranger to his place. he shows up all the time and really gets to know his guests. even the kitchen staff is fun. It basically shuts down all the other bars in terms of what a bar should be. good drinks good company good buzz!

After Dark is a great place to hang with friends and have a few drinks with out the drama of all clubs in Portland. The owners are very cool people. Bobby D is THE BEST bartender around and serves it up the way it should be. The Kareoke is non-judgmental and fun to do with or without a bit of liquid courage. Matt is a great MC and works hard to keep the night flowing. If dancing is your thing, Thursdays are DJ night and some nights can get busy and crazy. Stop in, you wont be disappointed.

Love it! Free entry poker 3 nights a week, free comedy, good prices, great staff, cool owner! Darts, pool table, guitar hero and rockband, golden tee, darts, karaoke....the list goes on. What more could you ask for. The only thing its missing is hot chicks. Not that type of crowd. But still a great place! Highly recommended

ive been going to this bar since it first opened and all i have to say is thanks to all the staff this place is great! why drive all the way to portland when we have afterdark here in our backyard? :)

The staff at After Dark is the best. They are attentive and fun to hang out with. The owners are almost always there and love to meet and have fun with the customers. The karoake is great and the overall atmosphere is one of the best I have found in the Vancouver area. If you have not been there do not miss this place!!!!!

I go for the Tuesday night comedy and it’s always a blast, Peter and gang do a fantastic job at AFTER DARK. If comedy isn’t your thing, head over to the game room, play some pool, darts, and playstation most of the time is out for anyone to play, heck Peter will challenge you to a game of football (he’s pretty good, heads up.) It’s a fun place to go and just hang out, friendly people and plenty of things to do!

Highly recommended. I've been there for the Hold'em and for the live music and just for drinks on a few occasions. Lots of karaoke with nice screens and projectors and microphones...and a unique split-venue setup so you can get away from it and play pool or whatever if you're not into karaoke (and I'm not). Being a musician, I was checking out their sound system and it's one of the best in Vancouver so definitely check it out for live music.

I have been going there for about 6 months now. Its a cool place good enviorment and lots of stuff to do. I joined a dart league few months back that was really fun even the owner was on the league. I havent made it in for the hold em or the comedy yet but would like to in the future. But the guitar hero 3 is pretty sweet espeacially after gettin a few drinks in ya. I plan on goin there again on the 2nd for the ufc fight and probably from now on they have alot of tvs so makes it easy to see. I would recomend anyone going there they have a little something for everyone.

I only hang on Tuesdays for the comedy which is always a laff! Service is good, Management is excellent but there is a need a roving waitress tho...I've never seen one......The bar staff if pretty quick but I hate to get up from a comfy seat to stand in line.......maybe there could be doors separating the comedy from the entrance....It gets really noisy out there and hard to hear in the back with people and air hockey going...I'm old and it would be nice if you can get some over 40 crowd in there....this cougar thing is getting old for me!!! HAHAH overall, I love the place......also, the smoking outside needs to desperately be moved AWAY from the entrance.........that part is NASTY! love you overall

I've been there a few times. I went on a tuesday when they had comedy night which is the same acts they had at harvy's but with NO COVER. it was awesome. Service was great, and drinks and food were spectacular. On the other side they had a sports bar with a couple pool tables, and guitar hero 3. Then i decided to go on their ladies night and had a blast. great drink specials and hot girls all night long. What a fun thursday that was. Owner hung out with us for a bit and was a fun young man. Definately recommend it for all of you.
