Clean lines, monochromatic tones, and suave early '60s furnishings make for one mod lounge, made all the better with the addition of fat martinis and fabulous calamari. Reasonably priced bar menu served till 11 w/e. Bar open till 12 am nightly. $4 upscale well at all times. $3 happy hour food and cocktail menu 5-6:30 pm daily.

Love Basta's, feels like home

My boyfriend and I have gone to Basta's for years to hang with friends and enjoy great food and drinks. My faves are the Cafe Basta's (chilled espresso martini), the calamari (grilled and fried versions are good), the steamed mussels and the grilled veggies & polenta.

My boyfriend proposed to me there during dinner a few weeks ago...so clearly it's a pretty special place to us :)

Basta's Happy Hour

$3 glasses of decent red, carpaccio that's delicately delicious, and excellent service. I really like this place.
