So this place is neither a palace of debauchery and sin with tits being slammed into your face like at (Safari, Spyce, or Carnival) nor a temple of gorgeous flesh to view but not touch as at (Dolphin II or Stars). The stages are high so it's hard to talk to the girls. They don't seem to want to talk that much anyway. There's two stages but even with the multiple stages I would often run into the problem of only seeing blondes dancing (which bores me) so I've bailed both times before spending more than 15, 20 minutes there. Sorry. Staff seems nice enough. A lot of the girls are hot. But they're just not friendly like at other clubs. The low cover is a bonus though. But I would go to Spyce first.

I’ve lived within a mile of this place for three years and pass it almost everyday on my way downtown. Truthfully I’ve been scared of by the rough looking clientele on the corner and a somewhat unfavorable reputation among my friends.

The other night after enough liquid courage consumed at multiple other bars in the area I manned up and decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not an international destination mind you but a bar that fits right in to Portland eclectic atmosphere. The dancers were sexy, the music bumping, and the bartenders were friendly. I had an interesting conversation with one bartender in particular whose name Joyce; she was super smart, sexy and she poured a mean drink. Overall she made my night and I left feeling completely satisfied.

I hung out at the Cabaret a couple times this past week..WOW..It's like something outta pulp fiction...I was really impressed by the Dj.. I normally hate stripclub dj's listening to them talk in that wierd over-caffinated voice..The Dj at Cabaret(His name is either C.O. or O.C.)was actually witty and fun, and he talked like a regular person....If your scared to take a walk on the wild side the cabaret isn't for you..but if you like sexy chicks, good drinks and intresting peaple check it...ms rob...

And, the chicks are falling out of the cracks in the ceiling, and seemingly multiply (a downfall, alas, broke strippa's be meeeeaan!) by the week. NO SHIT, THERE ARE SELDOM FEWER THAN 20 GIRLS ON A NIGHT, SPLIT BETWEEN THREE STAGES, AND AS MANY AS 30 ON THE WEEKENDS.

certainly, they are not all a treasure to behold, but, seriously, look around, take some names.... there is a huge migration pattern between Union Jacks and Cab... note, formerly featured cover and ad girls Paris and Madigun work at cab. as does Necee, who is freakin hot AND smart. whatever, besides girls of reknown, there are a smattering of super hot, talented, sexy girls, and more than a few willing to get down for the dollar.

The place is filthy; not just dirty, but filthy...I'm talking disgusting despite the dim lighting filthy.

The staff is rude and pushy and the booze -insanely- overpriced. ($9.25 for a shot of Bushmills and $4.75 for a weak and watered down well drink?!) The bartender told me they were out of the cheap beer that I asked for then I saw a different bartender pour the same kind of beer for another patron. Then the bartenders also seem to have a habit of dumping drinks before they're finished.

Don't waste your time...don't waste your money. There are much better places within spitting distance.

The dancer are hot, and so is the bar staff,'Jamie the bartender is one of the greatest girls anyone could ever meet she is great at what she does and excepts everyone for who they are and knows how to make everyone fill good. I'd always driven by this place and figured it would be a total disaster. Looks shady, in a bad part of town, have to step over drugged out homeless to get in... But I was downtown and drunk on st. patty's day and stopped in. Had a fantastic time. The music was great, the girls were smokin and the staff was all very friendly. Security must have been good too cause there were no shady patrons to be found. But bring lots of cash! Those girls can milk ya! Oh... and get a private dance with Nikita! Best $20 you can spend!

We ordered a drink from a waitress, and then she dissapeared. So, we ordered a drink from another server, and the original waitress had a real attitude towards us after that. This place is straight up skanky and they have nothing but trash for employees. Mary's club is a better choice, as far as strip clubs go.

Everyone is just damn nice in this place. They might not quite measure up to the little place on the corner by your house, but for a strip club I've been surprised at how everyone behind the bar and most of the guys at the door and most of the girls are genuinely nice and friendly. The ambiance is pretty good and it's less of a dive than most of the clubs in town. The only thing I don't get is Rich in the other review talking about smoking a hukka. Whatever he was on that day I want some. I haven't seen anything resembling equipment like that in several visits. I wonder if he was sitting with a giant caterpillar...

I enjoyed my time at Cabaret.I was treated fairly and not like some perv, the owner introduced himself and offerd to buy us a round. What other place would do that? Compaired to the other strip joints that have tried following in Cabarets foot steps in that district and failed. It blows the others ("Lush", and others not to be named) out of the water.
