Quiet neighborhood bar with an old-timey feel. Great for brunch. Sidewalk seating, weather permitting. Open Mon-Thu 8am-10pm, Fri-Sat 9am-12am, Sun 9am-10pm.

Sweet Potato Fries..mmmm

Yes, they have them, and this little place is a nice change of pace from the smokier Night Light across the street. It's hard for me to find much fault in a place that has hush puppies on the menu, as well as some other well rounded happy hour choices. My darker side enjoys sitting near a window, watching the intersection, waiting for the inevitable middle finger showdown or shouting match, while my alcoholic side wishes for a bit more Gin in my drink. Friendly staff almost gives me the "if People's Coop had a bar" kind of vibe." Go, get drunk, and enjoy not having to throw your clothes immediately in the hamper when you get home.
