BarFly's Review of The Crown Room
Argh. We have been here 20 times, and have yet to write a review. We need to get on it...seriously.
3 x pinball, 1 x darts, 1 x pool.

we walked in (2 of us) and waited patiently for the BT to ignore us and serve his friends. after waiting 10 min, the BT served everyone else in the bar, and then sat down and played poker, without so much as asking if we wanted to be served. it was 8 pm on a tuesday, and not busy. he saw us, made eye contact, and decided we didn't deserve service. i will never, ever go back. maybe, but only to put gum in the BT's hair.
The Crown Room on thursday nights is amazing. They have great Burlesque. What a fun show. and the food is good too!!!
Been coming here since it opened. It was great to begin with but now with all the opening week kinks worked out the place really rocks! Nice and relaxed in the later afternoon to early evening, and hopping come the evening (the Wed night Elvis show is a thing to behold).
good atmosphere. nice food. great parking (just across the street) overall it was a good find for my weekend visit to portland. i will return and bring friends next time i'm in town.
no band but they said they are working on it.
Lots of deep dark booths to sink into. Perfect for meeting friends after work. Food is way above average. Servers and bartenders are nice. Drinks are good. Two thumbs up.
Went in on Tuesday evening for happy hour - the bartender was the coolest guy ever - super sweet - helpful, and kind of cute? Anyway - decent place - good prices. Although I don't enjoy smoking outside -
This place is cool-good food, good staff and smoke free! The only thing i would change is they need to step up their happy hour. The drink deals are weak the only discount on cocktails they give is $2 off a list of dinks that cost $7 and up. Well drinks are the same all the time and why pay over $4 for a rum and coke when I can go right around the corner to East or Tube and get the same thing for $2? Don't get me wrong I still dig the bar but it's not a happy hour destination.
i stopped in again with some friends who wanted to check it out. the BT was much more friendlier than the previous one and actually gave me my change AND they now have PBR tall boys
