An update to an earlier post where I called the Decoy OK. Went back for lunch and was more than a little impressed with the burger choices and can I get an Amen for perhaps one of the best mojitos I've had in a long time. Very friendly service. A big hit. Stop by and have a mojito.
The Decoy is one of the best bars / Restaurants in town. The service is prompt and the employees are friendly. The food is great. The Prime Rib special on Saturday nights are the best. A nice place to go have dinner and a couple of drinks and come home with money left in your pocket.

This is the BEST small restaurant that we will travel 30+ minutes to eat at! Their food is great, especially the Fish & Chips (cod), and we enjoy the friendly service. My elderly mom, who is so finicky, cannot quit talking about the great food she enjoys so much here. Bar/Grill atmosphere is homey, not fu-fu; dress comfortable and eat your hearts out!! Try their appetizers too; fried mushrooms are delish!! We try to eat here at least once a week.
The Decoy is a great place for us Columbia County folks to meet up with their Portland counterparts and even better they are open for breakfast. The service is good, the decor is OK, except for the ratty booth vinyl.
Breakfast was OK, which belies the sign out front that says "best breakfast in town"...well, perhaps in Linnton that's true.
My friend and I both LOVE a bloody beer, but they didn't have Clamato, so we muddled through with straight tomato juice. Ick. When the people behind us sat down and asked about Clamato, I thought that was too big a coincidence and others must have asked before us, so I'm thinking if more than one person ask for the same thing and you aren't carrying it, someone should get a pad of paper and pencil and start a shopping list. I think it has a half-life of at least a billion years so why not pick up a bottle?
Overall a good place for breakfast with reasonable prices and good food and service.
