BarFly's Review of EaT: An Oyster Bar

Smaller than it looks thanks to a mirror that reflects not only the room but Portland itself.* In this town we plop the pleasant bits of the rest of the country (in this case, New Orleans sans blight) into odd little spaces; we have clever menus (gator bites: yes sir) because everyone's a slumming foodie; we keep a foot firmly planted in cheap beer (because everyone's a slumming foodie); and we maintain a selection of fine, fine bourbons because sometimes the parents of us slumming foodies come to town.

EaT is lovely even if you don't like oysters because they're all slimy going down your throat and that's kind of gross like the second half of a blowjob.

*Lube up as I forcibly insert this metaphor.
