Sterile bars with zero character or charm are quickly becoming the new hotness in Portland, it's nice to go into a previously unlisted place and actually like it.

The Fremont Ridge is a kick ass little neighborhood dive that is sitting on the edge of the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood. I will be back plenty myself, as they have wifi AND know how to use it.

Gaming here is abundant ala darts, pool, pinball, video poker, and they even have Texas Hold'em tournaments on Wednesdays.

There is a lesser known game called "throw the red candies", where you throw red candies and the wonderful bartender, Anne Marie, will make you clean them up as punishment for being an ass.

nice place

the fremont ridge is a fun little pub to hang out at and have fun. there is now texas hold em wednesdays, fridays and saturdays. there is dart league on thursday and a pool league on mondays! the drinks are cheap and the food is great!! so drop by and get some food and a beer from jess!(the best cook here)

The Ridge

This place is awesome. They have done a great job of making it a socially diverse place with something going on every night. Staff must be different than 06 since Chris, Amber et al are all quite friendly.

the regualrs make it great

I love this place. The food is greasy, cheap and delicious. The staff is rude but I never have a problem getting a drink. The patrons that are there all the time are fun and funny and make the place one of my favorite low key spots in Portland.
