Staff
I noticed the staff smoking pot in the kitchen when I saw through the door. It became obvious when our waitress gave us our dinner free and tipped us. I will go back again since it is financially beneficial.

Better now
I do not know when the change happened but this place was recently upgraded, no more smoking, nicer LCD's instead of the clunky projection screen. Way nicer, with a way nicer crowd now. Before I would not step in here because of the smoke and general icky feeling it had. Now it is pretty fancy.

Rude As Hell
What I think? I met a nice girl that works @ The Gemini, having some drinks there. I wanted to make sure she got home safely (because she was very intoxicated by nights end.) I didn't know that the Bar Manager, (and there is only one,) was the girl's room mate. She started screaming she didn't want me at her home, OR the other girl. (I don't know what's going on, just trying to help.) She was irrate for some reason that I was trying to help her roomate home. I did not know it was her roomate at the time, and informed her of that. I stated that I didn't know that she had anyone to help her, and she could hardly walk. Being from South FL, I would hate to leave someone in that position. What did I get for trying to be helpful? the Manager threw a drink w/ ice in my face!!! I've been a bartender for 10 years, I have never thrown a drink on anyone, nor have I had one thrown on me. Then she called the cops, because, of course, she didn't want any problems after that! Unbelieveable! 2 thumbs down. My boyfriend and I were stopped by the cops down the road and released. She said I started trowing things at her out of the blue, no reason. Right. Don't be better looking than the Manager, she won't stand for it!

Kinda average
Just an average "joint" in my opinion. Bar bar bar, nothing unique except the stupid looking scooters on the ceiling. (trying to pull a Kelly's Olympian I think) The bartender smelled like marijuana, I mean BIGTIME! And acted stoned. Decent beer selection, didn't eat so I can't speak one way or the other of the food, but the Martini sucked so I would order beer for sure!

Gem
The Gemini was the first bar that I ever got into. At the time it was called the Open Seas and it was a nice dump. The Gemini is a good spot to grab a beer and a game. Food is o.k., pub grub.

The Gemini is awesome! It is where I had my first legal beer. The waitreses are so great, and the owner, Shawn, is just fine!

Laid back
The Gemini is sort of a local landmark down on Hwy 43 (State st). The owner, Shawn is a cool guy that carries a great selection of alcohol and their food is realy good. Nothing to write home about as far as atmosphere, but they have live music sometimes and there's lots of sports on big screen TVs and pool tables, etc. Relaxed and fun.
