strong drinks
The food here isn't bad by any means - just not much better than you'd make for yourself at home. Given that, I think the food is a bit overpriced. The drinks are good for the money - esp. if you are a regular, they seem to make them stronger for you. ;) Karaoke is amusing but song selection is outdated. Nice atmosphere overall.

what's wrong with the food there? i love this place, its like 3 blocks from my house and their happy hour goes from 10-12 at night! Not overly fond the song selection, but then, i'm kinda strange when it comes to music. oh yeah, the service is great if you go when its not crowded (try tues. night)

Don't go for the service or the food, go for the drinks and the atmosphere...
The funky eclectic style of Grandma's along with the Karaoke presenters, you can't go wrong.

Smooth Noodle
This place is awesome. Slow service bad food but strong drinks. The weirdest Karaoke presenters ever. Really, its so strange you'll be amazed. The decor is amazing. I love grandma but she can make me ill.
