BarFly's Review of Gustav's (Southwest Portland)

It's always Oktoberfest at the German-themed brauhaus-style outposts (see below) of this local chain of Rheinlander off-shoots. Excellent, dirt cheap happy hour menu, well-trained staff, and extensive micro and import beer and wine selection are common to all.

Heavy on the family values, Gustav's will impress your grandparents, and keep your kids entertained; the delights of the happy hour menu (served 3-6pm) may be enjoyed minus the bluehairs and rugrats, when it's served late-night, 9pm-close (usually not much later than midnight).
