Stopped by JDs after work last night. Bouncer was very friendly and considerate. Opened the door for me and thanked me for coming. Bartender was very sweet and cute. Had a great drink, girls were nice. I will be coming there more often!!

Twice, I have stopped by JD's in the last month. Both times the service was painfully bad, even sitting at the bar. The last time I walked in there were only two other customers but still no service at the bar. I ended up walking out without ever being served. But at least the last time the dancer was not a bitch like the first time. The first time I went in the dancer was openly rude to customers. So far I consider JD's to be the worst dance club in Portland but also the worst bar I have ever been in.
I ended up here on a Tuesday night to grab a drink and play some video poker. The place seemed fine to me and gave the vibe of a place that was trying to clean itself up. Folks inside were friendly and the drinks were poured strong. I'll plan to check it out on a weekend night soon.
Always have a great experience at the new JD"s . new ownership has really cleaned it up, good food , specials, the dancers are women not catty little girls. Myf favorite strip club .
I was looking for some other place and happened to stop here when we saw it. From the bouncer to the dancers to the bar tender, everyone was really nice and friendly. For the size of the place, the seating was decent. The drinks were strong. The place just had a great vibe.
The new game at JD's is a vast improvement over the previous incarnation. Is clean and the drinks are good, selection is decent. Food is good for bar-fare. It is turning into my favorite low keyed hangout.
I'm a crossdresser that hangs out at JD's a lot. Everyone there from bartenders, to dancers, to customers seem to all have a live and let live attitude, and I'm never hassled. Management has recently changed and they are starting to get new dancers. The dancers are not Barbies, for sure, but that's a good thing. They are real people, and that's important. The dancers know what customers like seeing, and they don't have a problem getting nasty. This really could be a much better dancer club with a few changes. A lot of traffic goes by this location in the Cully District of NE Portland and it should be much busier. Drinks are very reasonably priced with most draft beers priced less than $3. Food hasn't been a strong suit here but they can usually whip up something. Cable TV is a little lacking although they do have a wide screen near the Pool table in the back. It would be great if they could get the Blazer games during the season and other sports the rest of the year. Come, do you thing, and watch this place get better.
