BarFly's Review of Landmark Saloon
Formerly Oscar Albert. It’s hard to think of a nicer spot to pass a sunny drunken afternoon than the yard at Landmark--lots of picnic tables, nice trees, plenty of cornhole, if you’re into that kind of thing. The saloon motif is present throughout, and the place is really about atmosphere rather than exotic cocktails, a huge tap selection or a dirt-cheap happy hour.
The main knock on Landmark might be that it’s actually too damn pleasant, which in the afternoons manifests itself in the form of children running around outside, messing with your booziness, and making you feel old. You’re in luck if you feel the urge to light up in order to drive the little fuckers off, though--in terms of square footage, it’s probably the best smoking area in town. The food is unspectacularly adequate, and the staff is quite nice and will presumably get over the wet-behind-the-ears jibblies soon enough.

We've been having our Thursday Eastside Bikenights here since it opened. They're very friendly, have an amazing outdoor area, and a quaint inside often with cool bands. We've always loved it and supported them since!
This place is damn near perfect. The corpse reviver #2 was perfectly crafted, and they had a pretty good beer selection. That patio is heavenly, and the staff is very attentive. They kept our table clean, but never felt intrusive. Why wasn't this place open when I lived four blocks away?
