Service not good or friendly, at all. Being an Irish place you think they would have a signature "Irish Coffee" Not the case, and not recommended trying one at Mahars. (mine came with salt vs sugar) Also, food is over priced. Also, it doesn't feel like you get a bargain..they over charge for bad wine and not so good food!

If Traditional Irish Means "Rude"

Terrible food and really really slow service, when we mentioned this the waitress was quite rude and said she "would get to us", finally got our meal and it was luke warm. The prices are high for what you get, we live nearby but will go to Terrace or a number of other bars in the area, not this place, unless they get some new management and better service.

Horrible twice

Microscopic happy hour portions. Slow service. Warm beer that "they cant do anything about" on a hot day.

Great Bar

If you like whiskey you would be in error not to check out Maher's Pub. While it usually feels about as crowded as nearby Gemini Bar the environment is significantly more comfortable. Too packed inside Maher's? They have a large outdoor seating area. There's also a Tri-Met transit center across the street from the bar, so you're not stranded if you drink too much of that whiskey.

Crappy food and rude service

Food was terrible, service was worse. Stick to Kell's or Dublin Pub if you want Irish fare.

Mahers

Mahers is a great Irish Bar , Very friendly staff and has great food,Love the Irish dancers and Irish music , well worth a visit.
