I love this bar! very friendly staff, great music, and awesome drinks! My girls and I hit McFaddens for ladies nights on Thursdays and the VIP parties on Saturdays. By far my favorite place to be downtown. Always a good selection of men to choose from and if that fails they have plenty of eye candy staff.

I hate it there honestly... The first and only time I went I was told by the bartender that I owed him 30 dollars and really I only ordered 2 drinks, I was mad I said no I would not pay this, then he proceeded to tell me he would call security and the manager if I didnt pay. Finally my boyfriend said he would pay and leave no tip, he signed it for 30 dollars even. We went about our business and then the security gaurd came to us and grabbed me and my boyfriend by the arm and pulled us out of the place... He told us we were kicked out for "harrassing" the bartender and not paying... I was outraged and will continue to talk "bad" about McFaddens. THE NEXT day my boyfriends Credit Card was charged for 36$!!! If you ask me this bartender was cheating out the cutomers and McFaddens... I would tell anyone NOT to go....

This place went to pot. I got in for free cuz I knew someone but no way in hell would I pay 10 bucks... you can't get service, girls are stuck up, and the drinks are way too much.

I ordered a pint of beer and got a 12oz plastic cup, which cost me $4.50 I was in a party of roughly 100 (probably more)people and NONE of us were happy about the pricing or service.

Faddens is the shit man...get on the vip list and your night is set...cheap drinks, dripping hot pussy, and nice looking guys (not trash)...if you want a good time head over to Faddens and remember to tip the guy in the MALES bathroom he is awesomw

I don't imagine I would even be allowed in McFadden's after 9 p.m., but they have an awesome happy hour!! Three sliders and an order of fries for $4, among other huge plates. We got High Life drafts for $2, also. It's a great deal from 4 to 7...

man the place is sweet..cheap drinks, lots girls, and the front door girl is so hot...i want her, and i want more mcfaddins.

Went to McFaddens last weekend. It was kind of busy. I asked for a book of matches (wink, wink) and my night got much better. Ask the Irish manager for some and he will hook you up. The service was bad, the drinks were crap, but the yay was awesome

What the heck happend to this place,it use to be the best in town, and now it's crap. Back when they opened, they had the best looking staff in town, now ( except for select few) it looks like they raided a side show at a carnival. Not only was the customer staff untrained and half appeared to be intoxicated, the outside staff was 10x's worse. First I was insulted at the door by the doorman, because my name was mis-spelled on there VIP list. Then I was treated like less then nothing by two of the barstaff for ordering a drink that had to be shaken and chilled, and it was still not right. Finally I saw so much drug use in the bathroom, I swear, I thought Lawernce Taylor and Robert Downey Jr. was on call in the bathroom. When I told someone in charge what was going on, he and one of the security gaurds laughed at me and did nothing. By then I had enough, I closed my tab, and the only bright spot of the night, was when I was appoligized by two male bartenders ( one asian, one with long hair )for my crummy night. The first bartender was funny, and bought me a tasty round of drinks. The second bartender with the long hair offerd me free passes, and offered to put me on the VIP list next time I came in. He was also very entertaining. If it wasn't for those two bartenders, my night would have been ruined.

I use to love this place back in the day, I knew all the bartenders by first name, and was treated great. Now there is almost a complete young staff who can't even poor a beer properley, and I get harrased every week from some girl there, who says I won A VIP party, but now I will never go back. I heard bad things were happening in around this place this place, and Voodoo, and would not want to be asociated with that kind of crowd, or scene. Try some of new spots you may be surprised

I have always had a blast everytime I go to Mcfaddens the service was great, and happy hour is friggin' fantastic. But, yeah there is a but, it is small and really crowded after the night hours hit. you cant even walk through to the other side of the bar let alone dance..

This past weekend (Nov 18 AND 19) was my first outing to McFaddens. I have never been to a place with so many hot ladies. Very outgoing (caused by alcohol) and well dressed. No too many people, but you can see how it could fill up real fast. Great drinks (plenty of alcohol). Great Music. Couldnt as for anything better. I will be going back again and again.

It was my first time there and I loved it. Good Music and a big dance floor, Pdxmagazine was having a party there, go-go dancers, hot men and even a tv crew, this night club is the place to be seen in portland, bring your hot clothes and leave your men at home because your going to have a good time.

The place was packed with cute guys and wild girls...My girlfriends had a great time dancing and the staff was hot!! While a cover is always a pain, the energy and music inside the bar made it all worth it!!! With a little patience we all got served great drinks at a normal price for a bar that packs that many people

McFadden's is a really fun spot to be! It is not so great on Friday nights, we have discovered that Saturday nights are when it is really hopping! The guys are well dressed and well mannered, and there is a really good guy:girl number. It isn't a meat market, it is just a spot to go and have a really fun time! Although watch out, there are always tons of bachelorette parties there.

My experience here was that it was mostly beautiful people who have money in their thirties. The cover charge was ridiculus and we got served juice. I dont think there was a drop of alchohol in any of our drinks. We left after our juice and headed to VooDoo where we got served some good drinks and enjoyed the dancing. I definenlty would prefer Voodoo if your looking for a fun night out in the city.

McFadden's bar is the best place for the cheapest price. I would rather spend a little more money and be in a clean environment with nice customers and staff than save a few dollars and deal with unnecessary attitude. The sound system is great and it's at a level that those who want to dance and others who want to talk can both enjoy.

McFadden's (as well as their sister bar across the street, Voodoo Lounge) offers a wide assortment of Shirt Guys and Lengerie Ladies. If you like Shirt Guys and Lengerie Ladies, then this is your place. McFadden's is usually crowded, overly priced to get in, and aquiring drinks is a drawn out process. The music is very top 40's and the dance floor is not equipped for the entourage of bar goers that frequent this bar. If I had to choose, I would choose Voodoo across the street. Both are trendy, but Voodoo is less crowded.
