BarFly's Review of Meadows Lounge

Roadhouse-y karaoke club mixes in live music, and the occasional Jell-O wrestling match, for extra flavor. Large deck and smoker friendly heated patio. Friendly, spot-on servers, plenty of specials. Mostly local, thirty- & forty-something crowd. Tons of games, including shuffleboard!

ROFLMAO! Ok I know Kae was just being nice and probably didn't realize what she was saying...

The Friday or Sat night BEFORE her 21st birthday??? Go ahead...think it through.

That said - gonna be bringing a big group down on April 2nd for my 40th - lots of regulars in my group. My mom was a regular before they served hard alcohol or had Karaoke.

...I think Nicole would have been uncomfortable being asked to leave for being underage...just saying. LOL

Inaccurate

Both your review of Meadows and the comment from NicoleRene. First: Meadows is a Karaoke/Dance club that is hopping every Friday and Saturday night. Second: they don't serve birthday BJ shots on Sunday nights. Please Barfly, revisit Meadows Lounge and then write a review telling everyone that it is "Party Central" for the east side! The staff is great, drinks are well poured, music is awesome and of course the owners Larry and Kae Pemberton make you feel like part of the Meadows Family! WWW.myspace.com/meadowslounge

Ouchhhhh

I'm a little upset at the comment about the dentist's office.oh well, say what you will, however, we have never had a solid line up of blues bands. We have music periodically on Sundays, maybe one or two have been blues but we try to stick with a variety. This must be an old write up because we haven't had shuffleboard here in 8 years. You need to check out the current Meadows. Now, in regards to NicoleRene's review, I would like to apologize that your 21st birthday wasn't more pleasant. I know if you had come in on the Friday or Saturday night before your birthday for your birthday shot, you might not have felt so uncomfortable. I hope you will give us another chance.........we're not all that old!!

I spent my 21st birthday here and it was okay for a first legal night out, especially on a sunday. I felt very odd doing the birthday BJ shots with a bunch of 40 something ladies and being able to down it first. I felt very young and out of place, but at least I can go there as an ego boost on a bad day. I still go there once in a blue moon.
