I love The Meadows Lounge. Why? The people are extra friendly and know what to do for customers who don't want to drink alcohol but enjoy being present for the incredible music (especially Thursday nights). I'm a new fan of 7Up and Bitters! This is a great place; the community will, I hope, begin to support live music and the places that bring it on. Count me in!

The Meadows is NOT CLOSED. The original owners - who had it for over 15 years are the current owners.

Just FYI... Meadows has been closed for about a year now. At least the original Meadows. The new owners still use "Meadows Lounge" in the name.

Both your review of Meadows and the comment from NicoleRene. First: Meadows is a Karaoke/Dance club that is hopping every Friday and Saturday night. Second: they don't serve birthday BJ shots on Sunday nights. Please Barfly, revisit Meadows Lounge and then write a review telling everyone that it is "Party Central" for the east side! I'm a little upset at the comment about the dentist's office.oh well, say what you will, however, we have never had a solid line up of blues bands. We have music periodically on Sundays, maybe one or two have been blues but we try to stick with a variety. This must be an old write up because we haven't had shuffleboard here in 8 years. You need to check out the current Meadows. Now, in regards to NicoleRene's review, I would like to apologize that your 21st birthday wasn't more pleasant. I spent my 21st birthday here and it was okay for a first legal night out, especially on a sunday. I felt very odd doing the birthday BJ shots with a bunch of 40 something ladies and being able to down it first. I felt very young and out of place, but at least I can go there as an ego boost on a bad day. I still go there once in a blue moon.
