We like this place a lot!

I used to go to this bar a long time ago and it used to be pretty sketchy. But I have to say it's been cleaned up pretty good. I like that they still allow strippers under 21 unlike most other bars, so even during the day the strippers have been hot. It's really laid back since it's pretty small, I go with my girlfriend almost every other week. Most bartenders there mix awesome drinks, especially the two chicks that work there. The blonde one gets excited if you ask her to suggest a drink, she is funny as hell and we usually go on her days. I heard the other chick bartender was the owner? Not sure if that's true but I wish she was on stage! If you go don't get their house vodka though, it's pretty crappy.

Suprised

I have driven by montegos a numerous amount of times and not once did i think I would go in there. Drunk already and I was bored on a weekend night with a buddy. First chick I saw I could have gone without. there was 2 tattooed HOT as FUCK I mean hot! women I could have been content with those 2 all night. Besides them being hot. I like the dive bar and the bartender pours some nice alcoholic drinks for real. I myself will be going back on a friday night in hopes to see more tattooed girls

montegos is cool

I went into montegos the other night and it was small, had one stage, there were 3 hot girls, no bouncer but the bartender and the dj looked like professional football players, alot more intimidating than your average wimpy strip club security guards, i felt completely safe and there might have only been one stage but the rack was completely full i could barely find a place to sit but luckily got one and i was impressed, good cheap drinks and hot girls, what more could you ask for?

Gives "Dive" a Bad Name

I have a friend who dances for a living. Through a series of events she found herself being scheduled at the "low end" clubs in town. (Thankfully, she's moved to much higher end places since then.) During this stretch of time, I'd escort her to a club, drop her off, and then spend a couple of hours visiting the locations for her next two or three shifts.

Of all the dives she was scheduled at, none were as bad as Montego's.

The place is a dark, dismal bar with a single stage. I vaguely remember a place for lap dances in a corner, but most of the "customers" weren't even looking at the girls who took the stage. The bartender was a nice, talkative guy and the DJ seemed so pleasant as to be out of place. Bouncer? If there was one, he was either the DJ or the bartender pulling double duty. Like many of the girls I spoke with, she refused her shift at Montego's.

If you're looking for girls - or even just a place to relax and get a beer - Montego's is NOT the place to go. To call it a hole would be insulting to back alley potholes everywhere.

What's worse is that the bar has a very bad reputation in the dancing community. Sure, they're rumors - but I heard them from bouncers and dancers alike, questioning the safety of the girls that work there. Can you imagine hanging out in a low-rent sort of place where even the dancers are scared? Me either. Definitely cross Montego's off your list.
