Cozy neighborhood joint has all the goods: open, square bar, comfy booths, a big screen, cheap drinks, plenty of games, friendly folks.

Red's is a typical dive bar, but without the anti-charm of one. It feels very commercial, but the bartenders (at least the two I had) are frumpy and seem pissed off. The food is typical heart-attack inducing bar food (the last reviewer must be talking about a different joint. The drinks are fine, but they're just as good at any number of Foster bars nearby and the food/staff/everything else is better almost anywhere else. Walk to O'Malley's.
Drinks are extremely good but.. There is some food that extremely sticks out. Especially the specials like Heidi's Orange Brandy Glazed BBQ Baby Back Ribs. It seems like the cook staff takes great pride in giving outstanding service while taking the time in providing great service. You come for the drinks but you stay for the food.
Just discovered the place during the long stretch of cabin fever weather. Found the crowd eclectic and mellow, drinks that work, and food that was good enough to surprise me. Personable folks behind the bar and in the kitchen. At the end of things the bill was less than expected. As of December '08 still a bit on the smoky side. I'll go back even when the roads get clear.
Reds Bar and grill is just fantastic place where you can meet up with a group of friends. you can start off with a few drinks in the bar and then finish off in the restaurant with a meal.The service was good considering they were extremely busy. The staff and managers were friendly and attended all our needs. We will definitely be back again.
