BarFly's Review of Someday Lounge
Sweet space has a raw, lofty feel, and a pleasantly geeky high-tech vibe. Balcony seating overlooks a small stage, which plays host to a schedule of edgy entertainments, ranging from electronica to circus acts. When there's nothing else doing, play Halo on the big screen, or whip out your laptop, and let your dork flag fly high. Bonus: good service, reasonable prices.
Full menu served until 11pm.
Hours:
4pm to 2am Mon-Fri
6pm-2am Sat/Sun
Thursdays; "The Fix" with /Rev Shines, DJ Kez, Dun Diggy and MC Ronin Roc.

The service here is awful. I like going to Someday to see bands cuz the sound and decor and ambiance is always fun, but the people working there are so rude. They're like pissed off that people show up or something. Not cool, their holier-than-thou hipster attitude annoyed the shit outta me.
This is a great place to see a band. They have good sound and a relaxed atmosphere. The balcony is nice, but it is convenient to sit or stand near the bar or on the floor as well. Overall one of the better venues I've been to recently to see bands.
Smoking section out front offers a good view of goings on.
The drinks were well made and service was good as well. Hipsterish, but not annoyingly so.
We've gone to Someday Lounge a couple times now in the past month, and I've enjoyed myself. They have a nice happy hour with specials on drinks and food (all vegetarian menu, if that's your thing - as an omnivore I very much enjoyed the few things I've ordered, but have yet to try the Seitan! Seitan! Seitan!).
The balcony is cozy and from the little I've seen they book interesting musical acts (the two times we were there it was electronic noise type stuff).
My only complaint is confusing signage. I didn't see the words "Someday" or "Lounge" anywhere on the outside. Instead there's a sign that says, "Viva L'Arte." Which, yeah I'm all for the Viva'ing of L'Arte, but it didn't help me find the booze.
Good place to hit early before you go art gallerying.
Been here only a few times but I'm already addicted to chilling in the balcony area, sitting on a black leather loveseat with my feet up on an ottoman, sipping a gin and tonic in the dark. The acts that come through here are avant garde in the extreme, but surprisingly, usually worth seeing. Drinks aren't dirt cheap, but they're always reasonable, and the decor is excellent--sleek and dark. Service is middle of the road, efficiency-wise, but never less than pleasant. If you've never been, this is one of the best places to chill out and relax on a free evening in my opinion.
