BarFly's Review of Stars Cabaret Bridgeport
The velvet glow that surrounds the three stages of top-notch exotic entertainment provided by Stars Bridgeport is reminiscent of a pre-apocalyptic Las Vegas seen only in movies, and although our first visit to Portland’s newest suburbran strip joint occurred on an otherwise unwelcoming Sunday afternoon, the club was already in full weekend-night swing. One can regularly anticipate a dozen or so dancers to be on the floor before churchgoers make it home from brunch, and many of the Stars Bridgeport girls look exactly like the out-of-your-league chicks that inhabit Lake Oswego and surrounding areas. This is a good thing.

I work at the Stars Brid inthe doigeport location. From the minute I walked in the door felt comfortable. Our overall goal is customer satisfaction. And we knowin this business that individual attention creates individual satisfaction. I, as my fellow dancers, want all our customers to have a relaxing, yet exciting experience. This is the place to be boys. If u don't believe me come see for yourself. Oh and, what happened to Stars? We're still the best baby.
I have always enjoyed Stars for the high class experience and beautiful women but that old Stars is gone. My friends and I all live close by which makes this club attractive, but after our last 3 visits, we have decided to scratch this club off the list. The drinks are over priced and light on the liquor. If you are looking for a place to get a few beers and play some video poker with your friends then it's a good place however; if you are going for the entertainment I would recommend other places ahead of this club. The girls just aren't what I would consider to be "Stars". So on my scale of 1-10 this club gets a 5.
What happen to Stars? At 1 point I wouldn't have said there was a better place to go in Portland to see beautiful girls but now I could find a better looking group of girls at the local dairy farm! Star's in not worth your time or the cover charge to get in! I was so angry when my friends and I decided to give the place another shot and wish I could have back the 2 hours of my life I wasted looking at over weight, buck toothed girls. The ad posted her is suck a misrepresentation and I have come to find out she no longer works there and is now at Dolphin 2.. No sure why but if I had to guess it would be because the staff is unfriendly, the drinks are weak and overpriced and with the overall experience you can't keep people there long enough to pull their wallets out. With all the places to go in Portland make sure this place rates dead last and I promise you don't need to see for yourself and if you ask someone else who's been there you will thank me for the great advice.
What is a restricted liquor license? I've never come across it before, but it means no pitchers and you can't even touch two drinks at a time. Being a non-drinker, I couldn't give a . Being a DD though, I don't appreciate $3.25 for a soda. The bartenders were short and bitchy, but smokin hot.
What makes this place worth going to is the talent. Not a dog in sight. Well, okay, maybe a couple borderline bowser, but I've certainly seen worse. The dances are a decent rate, $20 private and $40 for vip. These dances, either kind, are what you need to go and experience.
So to cap, $6 cover, bathroom attendent on the weekends (so, $2 to piss), pricey drinks (quality unknown to me), but good prices on dances that will blow your mind (and probably leave you with some snail trails to cover up).
Stars Bridgeport has an awesome $5 lunch menu 6 days a week with actual food not an appetizer being pawned off as a "special". The dancers are amazing and the private dances are awesome.
Definately a place to check out if you happen to be in the area, or even if you're not!

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it buy I was really sad when I left. This was my 1st time to a strip club. I had always heard rumors that strippers loved female clients. But it turned out the opposite for me. I was so jealous of the attention all the male clients were getting because I was tipping just as good but getting blown off. If I made eye contact with the girls it was almost like they would get embarrassed put their head down & walk away. I was so upset with the service I didn't even attempt to buy a lap dance. As a matter of fact only 1 girl even offered but then quickly disappeared. I would understand if I were unattractive but that isn't even the case. I'm 23, 5ft7 and 115 lbs. I just hope my next strip club adventure is better.
Having read prior reviews, I was braced for the worst. With a buddy having a birthday who lives in Tigard, I figured I would give this place at least a look. In terms of youngish (30 and under)dancers, this place is close to the top. Every single dancer I saw was a knockout. One in particular sat down and was very friendly. The lap dance was okay; not the best, especially considering it was in the VIP section, but not the worst either. On the whole not a bad place if your intent is to just "hang out", but you can probably find better quality dances elsewhere.
Staff is intimidating, mixed drinks are extreamly weak and over priced. Girls are less then disirable compared with stars at other locations. I had big expectations for this location. I have been to other locations and loved it, and was excited about one opening close to home. sorely disapointed with the Tualatin location.
I don't suggest going to Stars on a early week day due to the third string is not all that impressive. Drinks are expensive and weak. They have a great prime rib dinner special for 5 bucks with a 5 dollar cover. The bartendar I have dealt with is nice. Maybe B.S's a tad to much to where you have to wait a long time for a drink. There is a new girl, or at least she says she's new that is smokin hot and gives great private dances. She is a sweet and innocent act that makes you feel comfortable and believing you are "the one". Caution on this or your bill fold will be in a hurt locker. She is the to good to be true type. You'll know it when it happens and remember my tip.
I have been visiting since opening day. Sure, they have issues to overcome,light,sound,staffing... but what new operation doesn't.
The day staff is great. Bartenders and waitresses are really friendly.... and personally, hotter than most of the dancers....
The cook is amazing. Everything on the menu is better than good. His specialty is Yakisoba (on the menu as fried noodles) and Garlic Chicken.
Most of the dancers haven't figured out that in order to make money they actually NEED to talk to the paying customers rather than hang out at the bar, but there are several that are really friendly.
The parking lot is "interesting", but it's what they have to work with.
Give it a try.
Went last night with three friends, was notified we had 15 minutes left, no issue there except they spent 5 minutes looking at id's and we are all over forty. Ordered tequila (Patron per the sales slip) round of shots and rum/coke to follow. The shots were $9.50 each and the rum/coke was $7.00 each. The shots were good but the rum/coke tasted like something out of a toilet. Expressed the concern to the staff but were told sorry, can't help you. Wasn't looking for a refund but at least a no cover charge next time. 10 minutes later the bouncer comes to us and informs us it's time to go and we can finish the drinks on the way out to the door (passed 2:00 am already, no issue there). But we noticed that there was a group of 10 in the corner being served drinks by the waitress at the same time (again, it is passed 2:00 am).
During that whole period there were two girls on two stages who only danced half a song. Bless their heart they tried to put on a good to overcome the deficit distribution on the body.
Over all, someone needs to bag this place and send it on its merry way. When you treat your cordial customers like an annoyance to your day you can't expect positive reviews....
Never again at this site....
They have nearly finished the remodel (inside anyway) and have begun auditioning for entertainers (as of mid-July). Additionally, Stars Bridgeport will begin interviewing for core staff mid-August, so my guess is that they will be opening for business between late August and very early September.
I know it isnt yet open, I also know that there has been one hold up after another in this place opening. I only want to know when, date spacific, the new Star's will open at Bridgeport. I have to be there opening night its a must, I also would love to know what they will be doing with the OOTB sign that is currently on the front of the delapidated building. Speaking of which, I do hope that the new opperators will do somthing more than just paint a dennys blue. If any one knows an approximate opening date, please post, or better yet exact date. For reasons beyond my ability to express, I need to be there opening night.
