Alas, Terry's Inn closed in August of 2007. It will be missed. Nothing about the bland exterior (think abandoned motel office) nor the food (micro-waved corn dogs) and beverages (beer, wine, arguably) should indicate much more than a downmarket retiree's lounge - which, we suppose, it essentially is - but imagine a faded bar decorated after a week's tippling by a cadre of grammas with a blank check to Walgreens.

A madly-archived, ever-rotating exhibit of holiday decorations explodes 'round the bar, waving and crawling and bleeping out one-note seasonally-appropriate themes; late summer's a dreary time. The Christmas Lights always stay, of course, as does the corner's 5' Chicken machine laying prize-filled plastic eggs to the delight of drunken grand-children of all ages.

  4. Where you 86ed for being a complete douchebag? Are you the perpetually unsatisfied bitch? The bartender's psycho ex? Are you copy & pasting the same review from/to Yelp, Citysearch, etc? Then you undermine the value of user reviews. Don't waste your time posting.

  5. The 1st Amendment covers your right to say what ever you want and our right to delete it off our server.

  6. BarFly staff may choose to break these rules at their own discretion.
