As the proprietor cheerfully put it, "It's got all the ambience of a strip club, without the girls". 'Nuff said. "International' menu features snake. Yum. Open 11am-2:30am everyday Well from $4, PBR $2. An abundance of plasma screens play all sports, movies, or creepy screensavers. DJs and live bands Thursday-Saturday, occasional cover.

Great Afterhours!!
This is the place to be in Portland on saturday nights.
I Like to show up a little after 1am. This gives me plenty of time to get a few drinks in me before the place gets too crowded. The dance floor stays packed From 2am-4:30am. They have really good DJ's spinning trance, house, and techno. I would recommend this place to anybody who still wants to party when the other bars have closed.
PS: They changed the name to the "720 Club"

That was cool when River Phoenix died there. Go in the bathroom and do coke where River Phoenix did, then go outside and o.d. If your lucky, you`ll see Johnny Dep there, `cause he owns it, and there`s a special room where v.i.p.`s (Johnny`s Hollywood friends) sit and watch regular people drink and stuff. Awesome fun! Only, I think I was in Hollywood or sumthin` last time I was there. Oh well! Fuck it! I was drunk! Come to my new bar, The whiskey-a-go go, on Alberta, Fuck-a-lunk!

poker at the Viper
Haven'tbeen here yet, but, I heard of them at the North west Poker League's site, they are a vew venue startign on 10/05/05, and I will give them a shot.
I thank this site for the information on the room, I thought it was a strip joint based on the name, and didn't want to hit their link at work.

The Viper Room Rocks!
I just want to say that i have been to the Viper room for the first time last Thirsday and my friends and i absolutely loved it! Love the atmosphere and the music, drinks and food are awesome also. Chicken Cesar salad and Nachos are particularly great!! Thank you for being a chill spot that is not overcrouded, but just right. Keep it up :)

the Viper Room! (oops, again)
Hey folks, forgot to mention on my previous post: The atmosphere at the Viper Room is pretty cool, a little teeny bit dark. Music varies, on different nights. If you happen to make it out to the Viper Room, try out one of their appetizers, the "alligator bites"--not too shabby, and a little something different! And the Viper Room also has nice looking "eye candy" Bartenders as well, (guys, and girls!) (=

the viper room!
okay, since i i'll be the frist to review the viper room here, i'll put in my 2 cetns in on this place: i like the viper room due to the fact that they have an additional floor upstairs, (for dancing, should you happen to get a little bored being downstairs, where the main bar is)...coolio.
