BarFly's Review of Voleur
Charming bi-level bar in historic building evokes an old world bistro, offering an ambitious menu, and original mixology that ranges from the creatively refined to downright silly. Cool staff of Portland nightlife veterans. Jazz, magic, and other light entertainment offered several nights a week, rarely a cover. Stays up all night on Fridays and Saturdays, making it one of downtown’s lone 24-hour outposts. Hands down, Voleur makes the best macaroni and cheese, EVER. It'll make a vegan cry, I tell you. Smoking permitted upstairs, only.
Happy Hours
Damn, where do i begin? The food here fuckin rocks! Service has been great thus far too! Portland is so sad...24hr food options are impossible to find especially good ones! Thank goodness Voleur opened up! Seriously, gourmet food and desserts, which saves one from having to worry about the shit food/service @ Roxy (GROSS!) or contending with the dumbshit crowd @ Shari's or Holmans. HIT UP VOLEUR! YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Voleur is a combination of paris meets st.petersburg. i had good service and excellent drinks there during the week and good food on late saturday nights. I#m European, and this place is more European than anything I've seen in P-Town in 2 years. I like it....
