it went out of business. I can believe that because we had lousy service and the owner was actually involved.

A new owner, new bar!

No comedy anymore, just a cool spot, big enough to host a LARGE party, live music all the time, kareoke, movie night on Sunday with popcorn and a BIG screen. Really nice staff and regulars. Definately worth a stop in as it's conveniently located right on Canyon as you are coming in from the city!

West Slope bar

West slope bar is becoming one of my favorite sports bars. Each time I go in there are flat screens all over the place. There are 2 beautifully level and felted pool tables, arcade game like Deer Hunter, foosball table and more often than not live music. Last night I went to a karaoke and there was a live band backing up each of the singers. Taco Tuesday is also a must try I got 6 tacos and 2 bud's beers for something like 5 bucks. If bud isn't your beer there are a vas assortment of in my opinion the best micro brews around backed up by a full bar.

disappointed

Like so many other "could be cool spots" that have had potential and have fallen. I feel that "the slope" is going to be responsible for it's own demise. It has the makings of a hot spot, Good music, good location, and nice atmosphere. But REALLY LOUSY service, even to potential regulars. I've sat waiting for a drink for over a half hour with an empty glass, waited for an order of fries for over a half hour. That’s after getting up to make the order myself because no one would serve the table. Oh, and make sure you get an itemized bill. There seems to be a problem with that too. Look guys, good entertainment will surely get people in the door, but it's up to YOU to keep them coming back!!

Jury's out

A few good points, but some major red flags. I would suggest either pay-as-you go, or keep very close track to what you're ordering.

Very Entertaining

West Slope is a relaxed atmosphere. Live music adds so much more. Its nice to see them supporting local artists. Everything about this place is amazing. Come see for yourself! Especially March 14th!! There is a line up of local artists performing. Watch for PmoSlim of TruGame!

Live Music

The West Slope is a nice clean Establishment. It is also a Portland Area Bar that supports Live Music. I have seen some very talented local bands playing there. 'ThrottleDown' is a Prime example. This band rocks!!!!
