BarFly's Review of Wishing Well

Super crusty dive bar with a fantastic neon sign, a fantastic rock wall, surly help, and drinks strong enough to kill all of thebacteria inevitably lurking on your half washed glass. No need for a happy hour, they don't need it. $2 beers and $3.25 wells all day, every day. You could do worse, really.

FINALLY...Someplace to booze in Portland that is NOT gay!!

It's a real mellow place with strong drinks and karaoke on Friday nights so bad it's good! I would recommend this spot for anyone in the area looking to avoid the "hipster fags" of Portland!

The Wishing Well

This place is a portland landmark. It's one of those places that should never change. It's like stepping back in time everytime you walk through the door. Can't beat the drink prices.

cool...

Very casual bar with many regulars. Bar tender doesn't know how to make much. She makes drinks stronger sometimes and other times they are weak. Overall very chill place.
