BarFly's Review of Tabor Tavern
Swanky and typically “Portland” decorated restaurant and bar lit with bare light bulbs. Maybe don't wear your dirtiest of duds here; you may want to class it up with a T-shirt that didn't come from your “floor-drobe.” Ideal for when your parents are in town and they're paying, or when you want to seal the deal on a date.
During Happy Hour the Average Joe and Jane can eat some really tasty food at good prices—and not just little bar snacks, either. Actual, tasty meals! Definitely worth dragging a comb through your hair. Keep in mind the space is filled with nice, bright natural light (you have been warned) and is also VERY kid-friendly (you have been warned). Service is attentive, professional, and snappily dressed.
