Shameless, Shameless
My man Kyle has been gracious enough to give me a small side advertisement for my book, Shots of Portland, for some time now on this site. What started out in 2006 as a personal project to research and photograph older and eclectic bars around the city has culminated in to the last hours of this shameless promotion. After being published 9 months ago, the book has found its way into the homes and establishments of some 50 locations throughout the land. As gift-giving season approaches, my book enters into the home stretch of my grass-roots marketing campaign. If you havent seen it, click the link to check it out. Feel like purchasing for friend or foe? Do your worst, or best. Come the end of Santa's ride this year I will be ending the marketing blitz, and on to other projects. I thank Kyle for his continued support in '08, and the support of everyone else out there who have sent emails to Powells to get my book on their shelves. Thank you one and all.
Oh dont worry, I will still keep my site up, but I have a new book for the summer readying itself, so it is soon time to let go of my first baby, and forge ahead with new, unsober writings from our city. Shots Up!
