Will the Brasserie return?
The Brasserie Montmartre, site of some good jazz and stiff drinks (if you knew the right afternoon bartender), has been closed nearly a year now. The final word I had was there was to be a major renovation of the upper floors into new condominiums, and The Bra itself was to get a major facelift. Does anyone know if it will return?

In regards to the Brasserie I hear that they are done. My co-worker was one of their managers prior to the remodel and the story goes that they went over budget on the remodel and did not have enough funds to re-open. I have heard that someone bought the majority of their "stuff" and so mayhaps someone else will open the business under new ownership.
