Is it almost Friday already? Is it 60 and raining....already? I will welcome the sun's return in six months.

I have long been a fan of the aluminum hat: Its highly functional nature does not take from its eye-catching, stylish, "I don't care what you think" fashion statement. And I'm sure the research they did at MIT to show that they might actually *increase* the strength of the radio waves in your head was funded by, you know it, aliens!

I for one think it is time to welcome our giant ant overlords. So I'll leave the shiny hat at home and head down to the Radio Room (http://www.barflymag.com/bar/radio-room.html) to see if we make contact. Happy hour runs from 3-6 so I'll make my best attempt to be there by 5 so that sans any radio contact, I can further realize my dipsomania -- and perhaps hear alien voices in my head from one too many shots of whiskey.
