Shot glasses are great. Now most people are short sighted (some would say shot sighted, HA!) and think of only the obvious: you put a shot of your favorite booze in them -- or as the night progresses a shot of well booze because ya' know 'dat impresses 'da ladies.  Another suggestion: put tiny screws in the shot glasses. No, I'm not talking about "tiny sex" or even "midget sex". I'm talking about all the little screws saved every time another pair of glasses breaks or when someone decides to, without the help of the nerdy IT friend, take apart a piece of high-tech gadgetry -- and then cannot get it back together again.

The brilliance of this plan is that you can have tiny screws flying everywhere while you overly animatedly wave your hand across the bar as you finish your magic trick (another thing that impresses the ladies). Rather than having to yell out "ta-da!" these tiny screws become your own, live sound and visual effects.  For even greater effect, put snap 'n pops in the shot glass.

What that has to do with happy hour, I am not sure. But please join me this Friday around 6:30pm at Pagoda. Maybe with tiny screws in one hand and a shot 'o booze in the other, I will be able to figure it out. I just hope I do a shot of booze and not tiny screws.
