While passing Shanghai Tunnel the other day I caught a wiff of Chanel #5. A fragrance once worn by the wraithlike el scorcho. I had full intentions of going to XV, but her scent lured me and our crew into the Tunnel. I half expected her to be hanging out on the last stool along the wooden shaft, but I was disappointed to find we had missed her by a few minutes. We downed a few pints, complained about the axing of the Fugo, and settled for potstickers until our lust for the scorch fizzed out. Another day without the scorch, another day.... Who knows where we'll go next, but if you see us out and about we may interview you in our ongoing search for the scorcho...
