I was walking home the other day and came across the Tug Boat Brewery. It was by chance that I even noticed the little bar adjascent to El Grillo. When I walked into the little Portland bar I was surprised to see that it was an actual working brewery that produced three or four orginal ales, stouts, and other hoppy blends. I was tempted to stick with my normal Lagunitas IPA, but the bartender offered a sampling of the three nectars. I could not resist and thankfully I didn't. I can't exactly remember the name of the IPA they brew, but it was damn good. The night I went in there they had a band playing that wasn't half bad. Fuck it, as I write this I'm tempted to go down there and see what's going on....
