Be there and be square for another rip-roaring round of BarFly's live gameshow, Dysfunctional Family Feud, TODAY, Wednesday, October 26th, from 6-9pm, at the
Ash Street Saloon (225 SW Ash). Can't decide which side of the fence you fall on? Take BarFly's handy new quiz, “Stoner,
Lush, or Slush?” available online, right now, right here
By the way, as a special treat for all you former Max 910 fans - Miss Sarah X Dylan AND Mr Clyde Lewis will be letting their
Lush flags fly in today's Feud!
The Feud is BarFly's tribute to the t.v. classic, a hilarious send-up of the show, pitting various Portland locals in head to head deathmatches. Surveys are taken right here in P-town, primarily by drunks (BarFly loves you!), so answers are "peppered with local flavor", so to speak. It's damn fine fun, and it's free, too! There's always $2.50 Portland 88 and New Deal Distillery vodkas, free munchies, and a rip-roaring round of the BarFly Brain Drain Trivia Challenge, open to all comers. You cannot lose! Come on down!
I know I've said it before, and really meant it before, then been desperately disappointed and subsequently morbidly depressed, before starting the whole cycle over again, but THE BRAND NEW BARFLY WILL BE COMING BACK TO LIFE NEXT MONTH! I'll post an “official announcement” on Friday, with all the details, so stay tuned.
For all you folks who are still clamoring for Halloween BarFly Bus Tour tickets, I regret to inform you that the very last seat sold out last month, so you'll need to find something else to do with your Halloween Saturday. How about a SEANCE? That ooky, spooky, hairy, scary guy himself, Clyde Lewis, is hosting just such a fright-filled spectacle down at the new AudioCinema space. Feast your eyes upon the press release, below, and may your spirits be blythe this Halloween.
Yours, etc.,
Miss Jen Lane
