Purpose Driven Drinking: BarFly's list of Bars showing the State of the Union address (SOTU)

Let's get political! Join your fellow Americans in bars across Portland, to watch tonight's State of the Union Address (SOTU). It starts at 6pm, otherwise known as happy hour, here on the left coast.

We'll be adding to this list, thoughout the day, so please bookmark this page, and keep checking back for more options. To add your bar to the iist, please email info [at] barflypdx.com with all your info, including any drink specials you may be offering and how many and what type of screens you have available for your public's viewing pleasure.

Before you hit the bar, you'll want to brush up on the official SOTU Drinking Game Rules, conveniently, and most beguilingly, compiled, here, by our pals over at Esquire.

The Guild:  Check out the new beer-centric bar in the former Report space, and catch the presidential ack-shawn on three screens including a 92" projection.

Radio Room: Promises to show it on the big screen, with the sound ON.

Bitter End: Will give its mulitiple screens a brief reprieve from their usual steady stream of soccer, for a viewing of the SOTU.

Santa Fe: SOTU on 3 x HDTV and full happy hour and Tuesday specials (till 7): $4.75 margaritas, $3.75 well drinks, $2.75 coronas, 50 cents off draft beer, $5 house wine, and full food menu.
