Response to Edella aka Theresa aka Brad aka Stephie

Ordinarily, I laugh at most comments in the blogs from people I've pissed off, but I noticed an interesting pattern with Edella's comments to my Bar Website Review.

For those of you who are too lazy to click, here is what she wrote:
sad...I will not read your posts anymore

I will start by saying that I am not affiliated with any of those bars that you listed...infact I have only been to one of them, but I have a couple of points I would like to make..........
1. Either you put people down to make your sad life seem better. or...
2. It is a cheesy & unethical way to try to get business for your "web design" company. Either way, it is pretty rude.
Something certainly got your panties in a bunch, Edella aka Stephie aka Brad aka Theresa, as you have posted comments under all of these names.

So I offered constructive criticism intermingled with cusswords and harsh opinion, from that you assume that I either lead a sad life or it's a cheesy marketing ploy.

In retort:

(1) My life is pretty good, I'm doing what I want to be doing and am quite happy doing so, but I do have fun being a dick sometimes.

(2) I'm not so desperate for work that I would have to resort to such tactics. I take clients on a limited basis, generally I require a project have a budget of over $2000.00 to even be worth my while. Most bars don't have this kind of budget, so what do I have to gain from this? Some shitty local musician who reads the site wants a site for $100.00. Yeah, kick ass.

I mostly support myself running my own sites, either selling products or advertising. Web design makes up about a 10% of my yearly income.

Let me ask you some questions:

Do you think school systems should eliminate grading because it hurts the feelings of kids with poorer grades?

Is it unethical that a bar guide accepts advertising, and might give more favorable reviews to those who support it with $$$.

And if an advertiser cancels payment and gets pissy, is it unethical to remove them?

Is it unethical to anonymously write reviews and make accusations, posting under different names, as you have done? Tell me, do you really, really like the TV Dinners at Porky's Pub?
