While my friend Brandon is fond of going to the real slammer, with uniforms and strip searches and everything, I prefer the Slammer on 8th and Stark. The Slammer is one of the sweetest little bars in the inner southeast quadrant and is simply one of coolest, friendliest beer bars I have ever been to. They used to close really early, but have now extended their hours.

I will be there Tuesday playing Shanrock's Triviology, crushing all of those who are definitely not near as smart as me and my crew of smart facers. Bring it on. Bring. It. On.
