That's right, you can still be a miserable cheap drunk and help out a family in need this Xmas. I don't believe in God, but I refuse to say "Holidays" in place of Christmas.. That's because Jews, new age hippies, and the entire continents of Asia and Africa don't really exist, so there isn't really any other big holiday to talk about. Anyway, here is the scoop:

Treat yourself to a beer, help a family in need, and impress your friends with your humongous brain - everybody wins! Come on down to The Slammer on any Tuesday night until Christmas to play trivia; if you bring a can of food to donate to Adopt-A-Family, I, Trivia Jock ShanRock, will give your team one extra point (which you will need - competition is fierce at this pub quiz!). Everybody's favorite curmudgeonly bar proprietress, Lizzy, sponsors a couple of families during the holidays through the Family Assistance Foundation.

If you'd rather volunteer your time, there are a variety of ways you can help out - just talk to Lizzy (she's the Red-Headed spitfire usually at the bar working). Anything you contribute is appreciated.
