I make no secret about my extreme dislike of Thunder Ranch Saloon due to all the shit the fake/self review bullshit they pulled on our site throughout 2006. You can see what they did on other sites here. Somehow, me saying I had fun there just wasn't enough and they started astroturfing unbelievable 5 star reviews on our site. It pains me to link to Citysearch (Hi guys!) but I suspect Thunder Ranch pulled the same basic crap over on their listing there.

So I visited their website to update information I read the following message with mild yet vindictive amusement.

Usually, that's what happens when you don't pay web hosting bills, which should never be much more than $5.00 per month.

For some reason I started thinking about the message that you get when you go to call a friend and you find out that they haven't paid their bills. You know the "at the subscriber's request, this phone number is not accepting incoming calls" or some horseshit like that. Streetpony used to always call Cingular and request not to recieve these incoming calls.
