Hands down, the most controversial bar listed on our site has been Outlaws. Some of the most entertaining threads have involved catty RollerGirls, and douchey-douchertons, flaming idiots, ex-employees, and bands trying to promote themselves. To their credit the folks running the place quickly saw the wisdom of bucking off the initial urban cowboy motif, but the damage was done. Once you've made a name for yourself, it's pretty hard to climb out of that hole.

On the flip side of that coin, the shadowy empire behind BOG, Shanghai Tunnel, Tiny's et al, is going to resurrect the former BossaNova back into a more desirable venue. From how I understand it, it'll be more of an event only type place.
