Search For Bars By Distance From Location & Via Cellphone

I've been trying for some time to get a working version of a search that only requires an address input. What a pain in the ass it was. I don't have it incoroporated with our already bloated search functions yet, it's strictly on the slim site designed for use on cellphones.

Here it is: mob.pdxbars.com .

Things to watch out for:

  1. Use addresses and intersections accurately.
    • Bad Intersection- 20st & Burnside
    • Good Intersecgtion - SW 21st Ave & Burnside Blvd.
    • Bad Address - 1234 21st
    • Good Address - 1234 NW 21st Ave
    • If addresses are bad, the location will default to the selected city's center point.
  2. Distance is as the crow flies radius, not driving distance. So one mile radius can easily be 1.5 miles driving. I'm only one man and not good at math, at all, so cut me some slack.
  3. Let me know any problems with it. I think it's pretty cool mself.
