Green Dragon / Rogue/Radio Room/Report

I haven't written much about the Green Dragon/Rogue transition lately, as it's still taking place.  Rogue put out a 3 page statement about how they were going to run things at their new place, stating that they would keep the rotating taps in place, though adding more Rogue beers to their list.  They said that live music wasn't the "original plan," so that's up in the air.  Apparently they've risen the prices of beer as well.  Last I was there, I only recognized one of the old staff members and one of the former loyal patrons.  An ex Horse Brass employee is there now, which is good.   It seems as though the beer community in Portland isn't supporting this change, but again, this is all new.  We'll update y'all.

In other news, Sarah Betteridge, former owner of Tennessee Reds, is now the general manager of Radio Room.  Last I was there, it was packed, and they're unveiling a new menu this coming week.  They're also starting to do live music on at least Tuesdays.

Report Lounge, the old Chesterfield, has done away with all the flashy flash color and gone with a black and grey theme.  They now have barstools with backs, which I adore.   No more hunching over, yay!

More news to come.
